Update on Pune Center

What began in faith continues to be built by faith.  The construction of Pune Center has reached the second floor, and the second slab of concrete has been poured. We give all the Glory to Jesus for what He has done. Pune Center is not just a building; it’s part of a vision to train young men and women to take the Gospel to every corner of India. It will be the home of the Koinonia School of Ministry (KSOM), which is now fully accredited by the Asian Theological Association and offers a Bachelors Degree in Theology. Not only will Pune Center serve as a training center for future KSOM graduates, but it will also provide a place where all our pastors in the field can come to be continuously edified and equipped to lead the church in India. Practically speaking, this building will enable us to become more efficient and cost effective in our operations.  It will free us to re-direct resources into the ministry that are currently being used for rent, transportation, and other costs. Financial Outlook Thank you for your prayers and support for the Pune Center project. To date the Lord has stretched our initial funding to get more accomplished than we had originally planned. To complete the work described above, take possession and be fully operational in January 2014, we are seeking to raise...

Construction Begins on Pune Center

Some very exciting events have been unfolding across the street from Pastor Joseph and Vishranti’s house these past few weeks. Joined by the faculty and staff on the Koinonia School of Ministry, members of the Koinonia Fellowship, and the architect and builder, ground was broken on Pune Center, a new, 8,000 square foot facility. When completed next year, the building will include classrooms and dorms for KSOM, as well as a kitchen and dining room and space for the Koinonia Medical Clinic. It will enable us to greatly increase enrollment at the school while giving us additional capacity to host our annual Pastor’s Conference and other events. This work is the culmination of many years of prayer and faithful service by people in India and around the world. Thank you all for your generous support! With the money that the Lord has provided to date we will lay the foundation and build two stories. As more gifts come in, we will be able to add additional floors. Please pray about sponsoring this effort with a monthly recurring donation. With additional sponsors giving $100/month, we will complete all 5 stories by next year. You can donate online at indiaconnection.org by clicking on the Donate button. Or you can make a check out to Koinonia Fellowship India Ministry and specify “Building Fund” in the memo...
