What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the housetops. Matthew 10:27

Koinonia College of Theology gives young men and women a firm grounding in the eternal truths of the Bible. They will need to be equipped with the full armor of God and be trained how to wield the sword of the spirit in order to be effective ministers of the Gospel in India and do battle with the enemy. The battle is the Lord’s, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12 –
However we recognise that all of us deal every day with “flesh and blood” issues, practical matters like feeding and caring for our families, fixing a broken appliance, mending a torn garment. Pastors in India perhaps face more of these everyday problems than we in America. Most cannot rely on their flocks to completely support them and their families. For that reason, KCOT gives them instruction in a variety of useful, practical trades.
Can You Teach a Practical Trade?
The practical trades we teach include topics like Electrical, Plumbing and a crash course in Sanctuary Technology. All of our students, men and women, fully participate in trades training. Learning how to do some simple tasks will enable them to show good will toward others in very practical ways, and can open the door to share the Word of God. These skills can also generate income that will allow the work of the Lord to go forward.
You can visit India and teach a short courses in one of these subjects: Accounting, Automotive, Bicycle Repair and Maintenance, Cabinet Making, Carpentry, Computers, Electrical, Furniture Making, Handyman/Working with Tools, Landscaping, Masonry, Metalworking, Photography, Plumbing, Tailor.
Please pray and contact us for further information!
Worship leaders needed!
KCOT students love to worship our king and “Come into His presence with singing!“
Are you skilled on the guitar, piano, drums or singing? Have you served on a worship team? God can use you to encourage and share your gifts with the students at KCOT, the girls at the Girls Home, and believers in churches across India. Music and dance is one way that evangelists in India can proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ, especially in the poor and illiterate areas of the country.
Whatever you teach, you can be sure that you will be a blessing to God’s global church. As you teach, I am sure that you will also learn. The experience of going to a very different place and worshipping Jesus, the same merciful, loving Savior in every nation, will deepen your faith and help you see the world a little bit clearer through God’s eyes.
The India ministry has come a long way since I took my first trip there in 1999. Back then we had no building of any kind, not even a ministry vehicle. Now we have the Bible College, training men and women to go out into the highways and by-ways, clearly telling people about Jesus! Not only that, but a Medical Clinic, a Girls’ Home and a thriving church.
Please pray for the saints in India. They are praying for us too!
