Back to School in India!

Schools in India have been closed for over a year and a half due to Covid, but that has not stopped the girls at the Girls Home of Pune from continuing their education.

In addition to their schools online classes, the girls are blessed to have a computer lab and tablets to work on. We have tutors to provide one-on-one attention to girls that are struggling with math or science.

We have ramped up English as a Second Language instruction. Most of the girls will now be able to communicate fluently next time we visit the Girls Home!

Dreaming of the Future

We are so grateful for your support, which enables us to provide “a future, and a hope” to these children. Praise God that we have leaders to give them good counsel and also the resources to provide opportunities they would not otherwise have.

Many of these girls have been with us for years and are nearing the end of their high school career. They recently shared their dreams for college and career:

Namrata wants to be a Fashion Designer. We are blessed to have great colleges in Pune that offer many programs that she can take advantage of.

Pranjali is in the first year of her Nursing Program.

Sneha is preparing to go to Nursing School next year.

Shraddha is also preparing to go to Nursing School.

Vrushali wants to be an MBBS doctor! She is studying for her entrance exams and we are sponsoring her for one of the seats in the Pune Medical College.

Samiksha is preparing to go to College next year for Business.

We are looking forward to watching the Lord continue to work in and through these precious girls to make a better world for themselves and others.
