We are thankful to our Lord for bringing us through 2021. We all have managed to walk through some very uncertain times and continue to trust our Lord to walk with us through the upcoming season.
Your prayers, love and support for India Connection have been priceless. Despite the Covid pandemic, our organization has grown rapidly this year. Every facet of our ministries has increased and is now bursting at the seams.
The Girls Home is at near-capacity, with over 150 on a waiting list if we can make room for them.
The College of Theology transitioned for this year into an online college and has grown. We are expecting that our online students will be attending classes in person again starting in June 2022.
We have planted over 20 churches in various states this past year alone. Please pray as these new churches begin to flourish and get populated with souls for the Kingdom.
The Medical Clinic has grown into a new location and is serving the community with two doctors and expanded hours. They are meeting the needs of the community with weekly drives featuring blood pressure checks, glucose checks, asthma treatments of children and so much more.
The long awaited Pune Church building is finished and opened with a Dedication Ceremony on December 18. The building was demolished twice during its construction by the local government, but God miraculously helped us to complete it. We believe the church will continue to grow in numbers as well as in spiritual life.
The International School for grades 1 through 4 was shut down because of COVID but we found a way to run 4 hour classes for the neighborhood students. The school has grown to over 30 students.
Looking to the Future
With all this activity, our Pune Center building with its 5 floors is completely packed. This is a prayerful time of growth for our organization. We are praying about purchasing land and building a Girls Home building that can accommodate 200 girls and with it an International School Building on the same campus that will facilitate its growth from K to 12 grade.
Please continue to partner with us in prayer and by getting involved. Your love and support is why we are able to take steps of faith when apathy and uncertainty surrounds us. Our hope is not invalid, our faith rests in the Word of God:
“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. For you shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.” Isaiah 55:11-12
We are praying for you and your families. May the love of Jesus fill every need and desire in your life. When we don’t know what to do – we do what His Word tells us to do – “keep our eyes on Jesus!”
